Being a #soccerally to me means getting and defending equal rights for the GLBT community. It’s also about soccer stepping forward and being a trendsetter in professional sports. It’s about soccer being a sport that welcomes and embraces all players and fans, regardless of their sexual preference. Soccer is the biggest sport on Earth, it has the power to change the world, I want to help that happen.
Being a #soccerally means encouraging the leadership of professional leagues and franchises to ensure there is an equal playing field for players, coaches, fans, sponsors, and others who may be members of or supporters of the LGBT community.
Being a #soccerally means standing in solidarity with the LGBT community to ensure that the world’s biggest and most beautiful game remains open and accessible to all.
Can I borrow this and tweet it? “Being a #soccerally means standing in solidarity with the LGBT community to ensure that the world’s biggest and most beautiful game remains open and accessible to all.”
