Wednesday Happy Hour: Hot Twins!

No bait and switch here. There will be some hot twins featured as part of today’s Happy Hour and I know that makes me happy. We also celebrate the success of the USA Women and look forward to the success of the USA Men. And the only thing hotter than the twins after the jump may be the marketing put together by the Chicago Fire and Quaker Oats.

Carli Lloyd’s hat trick last night led the US Women’s National Team to a first place finish in their group in CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying. The tournament continues for them against Costa Rica Friday night at 8 PM ET. (USA Today)

The US Men’s National Team plays Panama for the third time in the last year down on the isthmus. You can watch tonight at 8:30 ET on ESPN3.com or Galavision. For our money, The Shin Guardian puts together some of the best USA game previews around. (The Shin Guardian)

Our friends at The Best Soccer Show are doing a special live pregame, halftime, and postgame show that you should check out.

Have a complaint about the chants from supporters you hear when the USA is playing? You can vote by liking YouTube videos of member-submitted chants! (The American Outlaws)

We have our next jersey review coming up this week, but the Chicago Fire has been wowing journos with the special marketing they’ve been doing with their new kit sponsor Quaker Oats. (Free Beer Movement)

Finally, goalkeeper Andrew Weber, most recently of the San Jose Earthquakes is appearing with his twin brother on the upcoming season of CBS’ The Amazing Race premiering next month. We will keep you abreast of their globetrotting adventures. (KCKRS)

As promised, hot twins.

Bonus: Here’s the CBS introduction video for Andrew and his brother Elliot.
